We offer three levels of eye test. This allows us to ensure that your eye test is completely tailored to your optical needs. We strongly recommend that all our patients book a comprehensive level eye test, as this allows us to give the best level of care. You can always alter your level of eye test on the day of your consultation. (Opticians in March Eye Test)

 

Our Most Comprehensive Level Eye Test (45-60 Minutes) – £120 Private or £75 NHS

  • This eye test lasts 45-60 minutes and allows us to monitor your eye health using the very latest optical technology.
  • This eye test included a extensive history of visual habits, systemic medication ocular side effects assessments, comprehensive binocular vision prism measurements, assessment of your optical prescription, and glasses prescription requirements, microscope corneal assessment, Optomap (ultra-wide up to 200 degrees retinal imaging), 3D OCT – Optical coherence tomography (particularly useful for diagnosis and management of macula degeneration and glaucoma)

Our Enhanced Level Eye Test (30-45 Minutes) – £90 Private or £45 NHS

  • This eye test lasts 30-45 minutes and allows us to monitor your eye health using some of the very latest optical technology.
  • This eye test included a extensive history of visual habits, binocular vision prism measurements, assessment of your optical prescription, and glasses prescription requirements, microscope corneal assessment
  • Optomap (ultra-wide up to 200 degrees retinal imaging) OR  3D OCT – Optical coherence tomography (particularly useful for diagnosis and management of macula degeneration and glaucoma)

 

Our Standard Level Eye Test (20-30 Minutes) – £35 Private or FREE NHS

  • This eye test lasts 20-30 minutes and allows us to monitor your eye health using traditional methods equivalent to that found at most other opticians.
  • This eye test included a case history, binocular vision prism measurements, assessment of your optical prescription, and glasses prescription requirements,
  • Basic retinal assessment using traditional methods, and gross assessment of corneal integrity.
